Quick Fix Trigger: Socket Connector

Locate and remove the easiest to get to unlit bulb in the light string section that is not lit.

Usually there will be 35 or 50 lights in a section. Clear the socket area of tinsel or other foreign material.

Now unplug the light string from the wall receptacle prior to going to Step 2.

Plug the light string bulb socket fully into the LightKeeper Pro Socket Connector.

The metal contacts of the bulb socket should line up with the metal contact of the LightKeeper Pro Socket Connector.

When properly inserted, the flat indentations of the Socket Connector will match the parallel the indentation of the bulb socket.

If the bulb socket is too large to fit into the LightKeeper Pro’s Socket Connector, go to the Alternative Quick Fix Plug Connector instructions.

With the bulb socket in the Socket Connector and the light string plugged into the power source, pull the trigger a few times, 3-4 is normal. If the lights do not light after 20 pulls go to Quick Fix Trigger - Plug Connector Instructions.

The LightKeeper Pro will have introduced a pulse into the light string set, which will have repaired the defective shunt. This is the most common cause for a section of lights to go out.

Unplug the light string from the AC Power Source.

 

Unplug the light string socket from the LightKeeper Pro.

Then replace the removed bulb and plug the light set back in. Check the now lit section for any unlit bulb and replace it per the manufacturers’ instructions.
